The Summer I Turned Pretty Review 🌊☀️🦋

I went into the show with zero expectations, but I got hooked really quickly. The cast was perfect and the soundtrack was immaculate!! every song matched the scene it was in so well ✨

Seeing the characters come to life was amazing, everything was just the way that I had imagined it. There were parts of the show that weren’t the same as they were in the book, but the changes that they made worked out so well.

I am so glad that there was so much representation with Jeremiah, Conrad and his mental health, representation of strong friendships, and the fact that there was acknowledgement of real-life issues like microaggression. I adored the show and will be rewatching it for the rest of the summer​​
